About
The Lovable Field Guide is a technical blog about shipping production apps built with Lovable. Most of it is about search: getting a Lovable app indexed, ranked and cited. The rest covers the two things that come up once an app is real: owning your code, and wiring up the integrations Lovable leaves to you.
How the guides are written
- Primary sources first. Claims about Lovable link to Lovable's docs. Claims about crawler behavior link to Google, Bing or the crawler operator. Where the only source is a vendor with a stake in the answer, we say so.
- Tested where it can be. The commands in these guides are ones you can run against your own site. Where a finding comes from our own measurement, like the 82-repo TanStack study, the method and its limits are published alongside it.
- Which stack, stated up front. Lovable changed its default stack in May 2026, and advice for one stack is often wrong for the other. Every rendering guide says which it applies to.
- The manual path is always included. Where a guide recommends a tool, it also explains how to do the job without one.
Corrections
Search behavior changes and so does Lovable. Guides carry a published date and an updated date, and we'd rather fix a post than let it rot, if something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll change it.
